Information We Collect

Eater is designed to work primarily on your device. Here is what we may collect:

• Recipes and content you create — stored locally on your device and, if you opt in, backed up to iCloud.
• App usage data — anonymous crash reports and basic analytics (e.g., feature usage counts) to help us improve the app. This data is never linked to you personally.
• Account information — if you create an account in a future version, we may collect your email address.

Information We Do Not Collect

• We do not sell your data to any third party.
• We do not read or store your recipes on our servers (all recipe data stays on your device or your own iCloud).
• We do not track your location.
• We do not display advertising.

How We Use Your Information

The anonymous usage data we collect is used solely to:

• Fix bugs and crashes
• Understand which features are most useful
• Improve the overall experience of the app

Data Storage & iCloud

Your recipes are stored locally on your device. If you have iCloud sync enabled in iOS Settings, your data may be backed up to your personal iCloud account under your Apple ID. We do not have access to your iCloud data.

Third-Party Services

Eater may use the following third-party services for crash reporting and analytics. These services collect anonymous, aggregated data only:

• Apple's built-in crash reporting (App Store Connect)

We do not use advertising SDKs, social trackers, or data brokers.

Children's Privacy

Eater is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Delete your data at any time by uninstalling the app
• Opt out of crash reporting in your iOS privacy settings
• Request information about what data we hold (though we hold very little)

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the app evolves. If we make significant changes, we will note the updated date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes your acceptance.
